Exploring Digital Integrations of Baked Good Delivery
Greggs is best served hot, but when it gets delivered it's almost always cold.
PC gamers are always in proximity to a food warmer - the gaming PC itself.
Gigabake
Enlist gamers to use their overworked hot PCs as the best way to warm their delivered Greggs goods.
STEP 1: We create the Gamer Grill, the worlds first baked good-heating attachment for PC’s.
This tray for gamers is designed to sit snugly on the top of your average PC case and allow its heat to warm any Greggs item placed within.
What Makes Up a Gamer Grill?
1. A temperature screen that shows how close you are to optimal Greggs warmth.
2. LED Gregg’s beacon that glows yellow when your bake, roll, pizza, or melt is ready to scran.
3. Vents for ventilating.
4. A gorgeous Gregg's blue finish.
STEP 2: Release the Gigabake on Steam.
The Gigabake is a massive 3D 8K file of the iconic Greggs bake which ramps up your GPU usage to make your PC
It’s the star of the Gigabake game, which basically consists of the large floating bake that can be spun with your cursor.
It then speeds up and up until it crashes your PC.
We will add the Gigabake as a free game on the Steam store, with the first 500 downloads getting a free tray.
STEP 3: Promote to the gaming community by partnering with Twitch influencer DougDoug.
We gift DougDoug the tray and a yard of sausage rolls in order to host a special stream where he attempts to ‘defeat’ the Gigabake.
DougDoug’s GPU is built for this kind of pressure. So we’ll see if how many sausage rolls the Gigabake can heat up to delicious temperatures before his computer crashes.
Any viewer who guesses right wins free sausage rolls.
